This is the first Project Healing Waters (PHW) Limited Edition Fly Reel. This reel is built in cooperation with PHW and and is based on the Potomac Fly reel from Fly Fishing Benefactors (FFB). The reel is cut from solid bar stock 6061T aircraft aluminum. It features the famous FFB silent retrieve and a powerful one-click drag adjustment feature. The reel is fully saltwater corrosion resistant, has a walnut retrieve handle, and sports the PHW logo. The technical specs are as follows; 6.172 ounces in weight, arbor of 2.00 inches, a spool diameter of 3.5 inches, and a spool width of 1.06 inches, The reel will be made in an extremely limited quantity. For the intial Limited Edition Reel, FFB will only build 50 PHW reels. They will be available in the following packages: 15 Reels will be sold with a matching spare spool. 35 reels will be sold separately and there will be 10 spare spools available for anyone that decides to buy a reel and later buy a spare spool. When these are all sold, they will be sold out! The reel will be sold for $140 and will require an intial deposit of $70 to save a reel for you and you will have to make a final payment when the reels are ready to ship (late March early April timeframe). The LE reel and spare spool combo will be sold for $180 and a $90 deposit will be required to save a combination package for you. The spare spools will be sold for $70 when sold separately and will require a $35 deposit to secure a spare spool. You will be notified of your reserved reel, spool or combo via e-mail shortly after you place your pre-order. When the reels are ready to ship, you will notified of the remaining balance you will need to pay, via e-mail. When you pay your final payment, we will ship your reel, spool or combination package to you. FFB will donate $50 to PHW for each of the 35 PHW LE reels sold. Additionally, FFB will donate $70 for each of the 15 LE Reel/Spare Spool Combination packages. FFB will also donate $25 for each of the 10 spare spools available. The PHW LE Fly Reel comes with a great reel pouch and a standard FFB warranty. All FFB orders on our website are charged a $3.50 Fee for fuel surcharges and supplies that we use to ensure your products are shipped safely. The Foam/Foam Box, which features premium aluminum components has one flat and one rippled foam liner. The Foam/Foam box is 6 Inches in length, 3.5 inches in width, and 1 inch in height. It weighs a mere 1.8 ounces and sports the Project Healing Waters Logo. The Foam/8-Window box is also 6 inches long, 3.5 inches wide and 1 inch in height. The box has a flat foam side and 8 spring-loaded windows measuring approximately 1.5 by 1.75 inches. Both boxes will only be produced in a quantity of 100 units and will be all gone when they are sold out. FFB will donate $10 for every Foam/Foam box and $12 for every Foam/8-Window Box to Project Healing Waters.
